Engineer It! – Friday, November 11
Learn about traditional Native American tools, clothing, structures and more! After exploring the newly reopened Oregon—Where Past is Present exhibit, students will put on their engineering hats and create their own technologies.
Veteran’s day Nov 11 there will be a free Cultural event at Denbaya studio called Zimbabwe Arts Day for kids and teens age 9-17. Three artists from Zimbabwe will be sharing their art and culture through song, dance and rhythm workshops. Visit http://www.denbaya.org/ for more information
On select no-school days, kids can put their creative minds to work solving challenging problems in engineering and robotics. In these all-day workshops, kids work in teams to brainstorm ideas, build prototypes, tinker, test, revise, repeat and finally present their completed projects for everyone to see and enjoy.
